Data Collection Methods and Tools

Data Collection Methods is a tool to support program design teams with formative research during the analysis phase and throughout their program. Formative research helps program teams assess the context of the country, and community, supports with observing behaviours and understanding root causes of a problem. This tool will guide the team to understand the different methods and approach that can be used to collect data, create appropriate indicators, and improve relevance of the program initiatives to meet actual community needs. This is part of CAWST's Household Water Treatment and Safe Storage Program Design Online Workshop.
