Happy Toilets: Promoting Toilet Cleaning and Maintenance in Nepal
This behaviour change intervention promoted cleaning and regular maintenance of toilets in Nepal. The intervention is called, "Happy Toilets."
This intervention was implemented by ENPHO, CAWST, and local partners; Upward Spiral developed the intervention design, and communication and learning materials; and Nepal Creative House produced the audio-video materials. It was implemented from 2019-2020 in five districts of Nepal: Dolakha, Sindhupalchok, Nuwakot, Kavre, and Dhading. The behaviour change intervention includes interpersonal communication through group and household activities.
